More Sidewalks is the heartfelt vision of Hudson Valley artist Karey Edwards, born from her move from bustling Brooklyn to quieter Pine Bush. Karey discovered something unexpected—she had lost the profound connection that comes from simply taking a walk in her neighborhood.

In many of Hudson Valley’s cherished rural towns, sidewalks are scarce. And sidewalks are more than concrete paths—they're threads that weave communities together. They're where neighbors meet, conversations spark naturally, and we rediscover our connection to both our local landscape and each other.

More Sidewalks celebrates and amplifies grassroots efforts to bring these vital pathways to more communities. Because when we create spaces for people to walk, we nurture neighborism and create spaces for connection to flourish—revitalizing our town centers, supporting local businesses, and nurturing the kind of organic community bonds that make the Hudson Valley our home.
