About Karey

As a child Karey dreamed of opening a B&B.  She fell in love with the idea of welcoming strangers who’d leave as friends, curating spaces that fostered connection, and offering special meals over laughter and storytelling.  And while her life didn’t lead her down that path, it’s the essence of what she’s weaved into her 25+ year career.  In her own way, she’s a hospitality architect shining these gifts on spaces, experiences, and communities of all sizes looking for the peace, connection, and ease that often comes with an intimate vacation.

Karey’s led impactful programs across media, tech, edtech, retail, and wellness—building a fully operational internal digital agency at The College Board, driving global transformations at Ralph Lauren and WW (formerly Weight Watchers), shaping operational practices at General Assembly that supported a successful exit, and advising startup founders and executive leaders.

Seeking heart-alignment and reconnection to her innate creativity, she left the corporate world and discovered stained glass — a craft she pursued to honor her late Mother, who once taught the art, and passed unexpectedly in 2024. Self-taught, her glasswork honors historical Tiffany traditions while practicing intentional modernism: repairing, reconstructing, and revealing harmony and beauty through ornamented glass totems that tether firmament wisdom to the material world.

Whether designing experience or form, Karey’s through-line is the same—cultivating beauty,  joy, belonging, and ease. Her other passions include enjoying Mexican food, indulging on the never-ending path of personal growth, interior design, and exploring New York’s Hudson Valley where she calls home with her husband, Oneil, and rescue pup, Goldie.
